AVIS Bfn added a fuel fill-up charge to a car with a full tank.

An otherwise enjoyable AVIS experience was spoiled when I received the final account, after having returned our vehicle, with a full tank, to AVIS Bloemfontein Town. The apparent (small) finger error made when they processed our final kilometer reading was one thing, however being charged for a full tank was and is completely unacceptable. I prepared a document with photographic proof of the final kilometer reading and the full tank, and the account showing the unacceptable charges and error. My final escalation (after more than a month's email to and fro) was not responded to by the deadline, 27 Feb.
