Avis applies ********** Damage Claim

Avis Budget have unjustly charged me for damage which I did not cause. The damage was an almost invisible crack in a tail light, with no external damage at all - probably a manufacturing defect. When I collected the car, Avis Budget told me the car was in 100% condition. I checked the car and found several scratches and dents, so Avis Budget clearly had no idea of the condition of their cars. Unfortunately, because of the minor crack, neatly hidden in the corner of the tail light I missed that. When I dropped off the car the Attendant came straight up to the car from the front and pointed to the crack in the tail light. He knew it was there. He actually told me he knew the crack was previously there, so he said there was nothing to worry about.
