<p>Avis? A reputable company which states they always take their clients into consideration above all else? I think not! I am disgusted at the way they conduct business!</p> <p> </p> <p>This is the second time I am appalled at their structures and the way they operate!</p> <p> </p> <p>I had a car accident in DECEMBER already and had to go through them for my hire car. I paid the deposit, no problem and took delivery of my vehicle. When it came to the point of paying the necessary outstanding amounts, I was ambushed with costs that wasn’t disclosed. I asked for a breakdown of how the costs will be calculated on SEVERAL occasions, phoning back and forth. The manager was unable to answer and explain this to me every time. I don’t understand how they cannot be informed on their own processes. I wanted to avoid a situation where there are cost I am not prepared for, which is exactly what happened. It is now MARCH and the query STILL HAS NOT BEEN resolved. After trying to reach the offices, the phone NEVER being answered, I had to contact them via email. We agreed on an amount and I gave authorization for the payment. 3 WEEKS after, they have now come back to me and said it has not been paid and I once again sit in a position of an unresolved query and anxiety! It has been a traumatic few months and this made it so much worse!</p> <p>It is absolute malpractice and evasion of their clients. I WILL NEVER USE AVIS AGAIN and will tell everyone I speak to about what happened. And, I am still waiting for the managers reply.</p> <p> </p>
