Av8s Cape Town
I prebooked the car on FNB, when arriving I srill had to queue for more than an hour in Cape Town to receive the car. The car was dirty outside (which I accepted because of rhe water issue in Cape Town). The car did not have any rubber or any car mats. When returning the car the inspector didnvt want to inspect the whole car whill we were there but insisted that we can sort out rleverything via email. 2 days later I receive an invoice for an additiona R800: - R182 for the extra 81 km that we drove (which is fine as this was communicated and else aggreed to it) - R115 for refueling the car with 7 liters (which is impossible as we refueled to normal full at the airport garage minites before returning the car - I am really upset about this as this is impossible, it would mean that the small 1.3lt Micro drove over a 100km after we refueled it, we defnitely did not drive this as the garage is not even 1km from the rental office) - R22 Refueling fee (why should I pay an extra refueling fee - what is this for?) - R226 Vat (which is calculated on the full amount including the rental fee that was prepaid (did this not include Vat already) - R391 fee for Cleaning and Valet (yes the car had a bit of sand in due tonit not having car mats, and we being on the beach as this is a sea front city, why should the car be sent for an complete valet that costs almost R400 for a b9t 9f sand that can easily be removed with a vacuum, and this after we received the car dirty on the outside. Do Avis not vacuum all the cars after a rental)
I am REALY UNHAPPY about the Valet and the IMPOSSIBLE refeuling
