All is not bad

Rented a car from 5 to 6 November 2020. I utilized AVIS OR Thambo. I previously rented from AVIS and though I did not have a bad experience in the past the service received could not have been described as extraordinary. On 5 November I attempted to make a booking through the number I so acquired from the website. I was struggling with this. The quote I received clearly was incorrect and I was annoyed and frustrated. I then decided to do the booking directly with the branch so cited. I then landed up with a consultant that was not very up to scratch to my liking and the line was cut off. I then phoned again and then landed up with a lady who I can only describe as a miracle employee. Her service was remarkable. Unfortunately I forgot her name but fortunately I reported her excellent service to her supervisor prior to my memory loss. (I am absolutely not good with names). Supervisor's name is Rene and surely she would be able to recall the consultant's name. What further impressed me was that Rene undertook to appraise the lady for her excellent service. Rene was also appreciative of the positive feedback and she impressed me as a supervisor that is worth the title. Somebody that recognizes the worth of an employee that takes pride in her job and is committed to render a service that promotes her Employer's reputation. Now I would like to be clearly understood. I am not a person that dish out compliments easily. If I go to this extent you can be assured that the employees so mentioned are worthy of acknowledgement. The standards I set are high and not easy to come by. To impress me is not an easy task. In closure I would like to thank AVIS O R Thambo for an absolute delightful experience in dealing with them.
