Absolutely the worse service I have received from a car rental company. To take R7 000.00+ for a deposit to rent a vehicle of R344.00 for only a day is ridiculous. First you need to change or update your online rent a car bookings so that you can choose to pay the deposit amount with the rental amount. Make sure that you inform people about the amount for the deposit. You took R5000.00 deposit and then 10 minutes later you took another R2300+ as a holding fee for the deposit, WHAT THE HELL!!!! Nobody can afford that and especially not for a day rental. It is totally unacceptable and I will never ever make use of Avis rental again.
