Save yourself the pain: find a different agent

Avecs received my vehicle in early March. Gave us too many excuses about sending our car on time, until our car was caught up the the April Durban floods. They wanted to send us the damaged car so that we would fix it on our own, with a US$1000 to cover expenses.

I refused and engaged lawyers, only then did Avecs disclose to my lawyers that my $30k car was a total write off. My lawyers have demanded that they pay from their insurance cover, and Avecs is refusing to pay. The case is not being contested at court and it is such a drag.

I would never use them again. A good company would simply pay from their insurance and save their customers headaches.

I am very very unhappy
