Avast subscriptions
Cancelling subscription is a magic trick or something alike with these people. I offer anti-virus with my various cloud servers to the public and have recently come to the realisation that it is almost impossible to prevent AVAST from auto-debiting your account for the annual renewal of a license pack (which could run into a thousand Dollar per year subscription). When you log into the Avast Management portal, there is no place to remove or edit your billing account details and, if you want to make any changes to the billing details, you need their SPECIFIC order ID, the SPECIFIC password they gave you at the specific time for that specific order and then, MAYBE, their system would not say "request timed out", when trying to log in, to only then be directed from pillar to post to try and figure out what service you wish to cancel and what other steps the user has to take before account identity is proved, before needing to redo the entire process to try cancel the auto-renew facility for a specific client.
I have a lot of clients that only need specific AV services for a 1 year period and I signed up a lot of clients in the past 24 months. Avast has been debiting my account for these 10/ 20 / 40 user accounts, without fail, and I cannot find a way to cancel the auto-debit. The only way to really stop them from taking my money is to close the account and or cancel the bank card, but this should not be required , if they were a reputable business.
VERY DISAPPOINTED and recommend you STAY AWAY FROM AVAST!!!!
