Be Warned – Avanza Plant Hire Failed to Deliver or Refund

We booked a 34-ton truck with Avanza Plant Hire and paid a deposit of just over R35,000. The truck was never delivered. The reasons kept changing — first it was “stuck,” then we were told it had mechanical issues.

The individual calling himself David, said to be the COO and owner, promised a refund. It’s now been almost 10 months, and despite repeated follow-ups, no refund has been made.
