breakfast not included

We booked in the hotel, we asked for hotel accommodation with<br> Breakfast included and was given the assurance by booking staff -Rowan . We did not request a self catering unit. When we went for breakfast we were told we were checked into a self catering unit and are not allowed breakfast. THE CONFIRmaATION SLIP STATES THAT FREAKFAST IS NOT FOR SELF CATERING. WE NEVER ASKED FOR THAT. this was suppose to be a holiday break which turned out to be a complete messup. What they gave us was not what we asked for and what was agreed telephonically. Natahal (duty manager) HIGHLIGHTED an message on the invoice that does not allow for breakfast for the self catering unit, but no where on the invoice does it state anything regarding my booking being made for a self catering unit.
