Pandemic aside. Customer service and a sense of truth is required. Firstly this hotel opened themselves to allow for criticism be it good or bad on Google and because they not entirely happy with my emails I sent them directly and the criticism I have given on Google. I tried to book with Debbie Nel and received a response they will no longer be accommodating me and thanked me for my past support but will wait till after covid settles to accommodate me. Now this was a clearly a distinct sarcastic remark given by Debbie nel as I wanted to book for next year.
My issue for my last visit. My room I explicitly indicated via email my request to be put far away from a particular self catering suite which is normally noisy. Upon arrival low and behold I was put next to the very suite I requested not to be next to. Secondly before going through I asked if they would still provide a particular luxury which was provided prior to covid they yes they will do with restrictions but I have nothing to worry about everything I seek will be there. Nevertheless this was waaaay below par. Overall experience of the food was poor and somehow something has clearly changed and not for the better.
Bottom line I paid for something upfront and my needs wasn't met I gave them constructive criticism of which they weren't happy and retaliated not win the client over but by trying to false with information from start to end.
I told myself I want to give this place another shot and I received a terrible antagonistic response from Debbie Nel.
I paid all my dues when present I never broke anything down I just gave the hotel a view for the one time I stayed which was poor and I felt they were using covid as an excuse.
Extremely disappointed Client which attended every year prior to covid and I basically got chucked out for merely giving an opinion for something they open themselves up to on Google.
