New goods sold with no guarantee

I purchased a new 4y engine on 20/12/2016.In March the distributer went faulty and had to be replaced and I was told that it was not under guarantee. I bought a new one for R1600. The distributer once again stopped working. The installation is done by qualified people. Why do I not have a guarantee???????

I have bought many spare parts at Autozone in Aliwal and although you phone and order the parts before you collect, you still have to stand and wait for the parts.

Aliwal Autozone is not a pleasant place to purchase goods.
