Autozone branded batteries are junk!!

I bought an AutoZone branded battery around September 2014. About 9 months later the battery suddenly failed. Swapped it at AutoZone as it was still under warranty. 9 Months later this NEW battery also fails! Is the lifespan of these AutoZone batteries less than a year? I'm really fed up with the inconveniences I'm experiencing as I am now stuck at home during the Easter holidays. Had my alternator checked at battery center and they say the problem is with the battery. What do I do now that the battery is out of warranty? Did my R794 go down the drain just like that? I feel cheated! For R794 I expected a quality battery but it is clear that AutoZone branded batteries are junk. Is this the type of quality I should be experiencing from a big brand such as AutoZone? I doubt that I will be supporting AutoZone after this terrible experience. Truly disappointed.
