Terrible customer service at Autoworld Goodwood car dealership in Cape Town

I bought a car from Autoworld Goodwood (cnr. Marais and Voortrekker Roads, Goodwood, Cape Town) in July 2017. Since then, it has been back to them no less than 4 times for "services" (which were not done properly) and for reoccurring problems which I was promised each and every time had been fixed, but were not.

The latest drama began last Wednesday 04 October 2017 when the front bumper of my car decided to come loose on the one side as I was driving. It sc****d along the road as I made my way to a Ford dealership which was luckily near to where I was when it happened. They asked me where I bought the car from and told me to take it straight back to the dealership as my bumper has literally been GLUED on and not fixed on correctly with a bracket, nuts and bolts.

So, off I went to Autoworld Goodwood (taking time out of my work day for the fourth time in as many months) to have them fix this, along with the following issues:

1. The wipers switching on every time I start the engine, with no way of turning them off 2. The electronics on the steering wheel being faulty (which has been "fixed" once before) 3. The USB, Charging and AUX ports not working (which have also been "fixed" once before) 4. The air conditioner which was never re-gassed even though the car was sent back twice to Autoworld since it's 1st service (when this should have initially been done)

Adam, the person who I have been dealing with since day one at Autoworld, NEVER keeps me updated as to what is happening and NEVER returns my phone calls when I have left messages with reception at Autoworld.

The above points I put in an email to Adam after dropping my car off on Wednesday, and I also told him that my car has been booked in at Ford on Tuesday (10/10/17) for them to check that the above mentioned issues have actually been fixed this time round.

When I dropped my car off on Wednesday (04/10/17), Adam told me that he would give me a call on Thursday (05/10/17) to update me on when my car would be ready for collection. Autoworld gave me a terrible Toyota Corolla as a courtesy car as I need a vehicle for my work, as well as getting from home to work. Thursday came and went without any word from Adam.

So my husband and I decided to pay him a visit on Friday (06/10/17) at lunchtime (again, having to take time out of both our work days to go to Autoworld). We were told by Adam that we would have our car back on Tuesday (10/10/17). He knew that our car was booked in at Ford for 07:30am on Tuesday (10/10/17) for a full inspection, but we told him that we would shirt this to Friday so that I would not have to reschedule it again (as we would be getting our car back on Tuesday... apparently). We also told him to give us a better courtesy car, so we got a Ford Figo.

Monday came and went, Tuesday came and went and still no word from Adam. So I phoned Adam on Wednesday (11/10/17) at 09:10am to hear what the story was. Adam told me that I would DEFINITELY have my car back on Thursday (12/10/17) as he knows that we rescheduled the service at Ford to Friday (13/10/17) at 07:30. He said that if he couldn't deliver my car to my work on Thursday, that he would personally bring it to me at my house on Thursday evening. Well, that never happened. And up until now (Friday 13/10/17 at 11:40am), I still do not know what is going on! And trying to get hold of the owner of Autoworld is near to impossible as he is either out of the office, or busy in meetings and does not return phone calls!

I am writing this review so that nobody else has to deal with the SHOCKING service and lack of communication at Autoworld Goodwood.

Oh, and I forgot to mention how I had to, once again, move my booking with Ford from today (Friday 13/10/17) to Tuesday 17 October 2017. Seriously NOT impressed.
