Trying to ****** money - cannot trust them
I took my car in for a service in June last year. First quote was for R4348.19 - A B service. I received a phone call stating that my front breaks needed to be replaced, even though the car computer and diagnostics was not indicating this. The quote I was given was for R10205.15
Autoworks was insistent that the warning would come on before the next service and this needed to be done now. I declined, saying I would wait till the car requested it.
Well - 15000 km and 8 months later and my car needs to go in for another service. Breaks are still perfect, and the computer is still not requesting new breaks.
Guess its back to the dealer. No point trying to save money by taking the car to a service company that attempts to ******* the customer.
Good day Mr Cross,

Good day Mr. Cross,
Thank you for sending the feedback you received from Mercedes to us. I have set up a meeting with my Director and Branch Manager of the Milnerton branch and we will handle this matter internally with the technician that worked on your vehicle.
I understand that you have lost faith in Autoworks, but I do believe that the way a company responds and deals with complaints says more about them than the complaint itself.

Minette Williams
