Sorry communication skills
I took my renault scenic in on the 14th of January 2015 and received it back on the 5th of March 2015.

During this time I received ONE phone-call to give me feedback as to what was going on. I have communicated with them during this time but every time I had to call I was put through, had the call dropped, or was on hold for up to 10min at a time. Not one of my messages were followed up with a return phone-call.

The experience was worse once the Observatory branch closed and my vehicle was moved to milnerton.

Now that I have received my car back I have discovered that my air intake has been broken and left hanging loose in the engine bay. I understand perhaps that I should have scrutinised my vehicle before paying but this workshop was recommended to me by someone whose judgement I trust.

When paying my bill, I spotted the mechanic's report detailing a few problems I was not aware of . When I mentioned this, I was told by the lady at reception that \this document was not for my eyes"!

No-one has subsequently spoken to me regarding the items on this report.

This has been seven weeks of frustration that would at least be slightly mitigated by decent communication."""
Your vehicle was towed into our Obs workshop on 29/01/020015 after you had your vehicle at an unknown workshop who failed to replace the tensioner when replacing your cambelt. The tensioner seized causing your cambelt to snap and caused damage to the engine. We were in the process of moving so we assessed the vehicle, saw that valves were bent and sent it to our Milnerton branch to be repaired.The vehicle arrived in Milnerton on 30/01/2015. We sent you a quote on 10/02/2015 and informed you that the work will take + - 2 weeks to and you gave us go-ahead on 12/02/2015. We phoned you on 2/03/2015 and confirmed your vehicle is ready for collection.You then came back on 19/03/2015 complaining about an oil leak. Our branch manager in Milnerton, informed you that the oil leak is not caused by anything we did but we will replace it for you as a good gesture.
1.As George mentioned to you, the oil leaks are not due to any work that we did on your vehicle;
2.Your air intake pipe was broken when your vehicle arrived at Autoworks;
3.We replaced the engine/cambelt cover on your vehicle, there is just that one cover on your vehicle, feel free to check any other Renault Scenic engine;
