Inability to fix oil leak after repeated tries

I have taken my car in twice over the course of the last two weeks and spent ~R1500.00 to get an oil leak (causing the fan belt to slip) fixed.<br> <br> To my surprise, I was phoned me with a number of quotes ranging from replacing wiper blades, cleaning the brakes, flushing the brake fluid and finally replacing the tappet cover gasket (the actual cause of the noise - oil leaking onto the fan belt). I asked why the other items, aside from the leaking tappet cover gasket, weren't raised when the car was serviced at the end of 2014. I didn't get a satisfactory answer, and was left with the impression that the aim of the exercise was to make money.<br> <br> After fetching my car the second time, I noticed that the oil leak is still present and the fan belt is still making the noise that caused me to take in initially for inspection. There's also now a burning rubber / oil smell after driving for a while.<br> <br> I am really at wits end. It's now been two weeks and ~R1500.00 later, and the original problem I took the car in for has yet to be fixed - not to mention the 4 days in total I've been without the vehicle.<br> <br> Please advise how you intend to resolve the problem.
