Bad service from Autoworks Brackenfell branch
Very bad service. Had my car for 6 days to service it. Aircon was in working condition, but not cooling effectively. When I got my car back, it wasn't working at all, then they claimed it was leaking. I asked them not to replace the oil, but was charged for a sum plug washer. They don't respond to emails at all. Manager is invisible ... doesn't respond or call you to apologise. They took very long with quotes and to get parts. Took very long with service and after spending R9 000+, you would think you get a clean car back, which was not the case!
Good day Helga,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We will investigate and revert back to you as soon as possible.

Good day Mrs. du Toit,
Your vehicle was booked into our workshop on the 12th of March 2018 for us to check a water leak as well as check the brakes on your vehicle. Our technician did a full check over and found numerous parts that needed to be replaced. Our Service Assistant sent you all the quotes for the additional work on the same day and you responded the evening and told us to go ahead. Your parts were ordered on the 13th. We managed to do the service, aircon regas and brakes the same day. There was a delay from Peugote in supplying us with the coolant bottle, pipe and cap so the rest of the work could not be done. You needed your vehicle so you came to collect it on the 14th of March and brought it back on Monday the 19th in order for us to do the additional work as well as check why the aircon was not working at all after the regas was done.
It is standard practice to first regas an aircon when it is not cooling properly, when doing this regas we add a dye so that if the aircon is not working due to a leak we would be able to see where the leak is coming from.
On the Monday we sent the radiator to be flushed, the company we used then came back to us advising us that the radiator was leaking and would need to be replaced. We sent you a quote for a new radiator and you gave us go-ahead for this. The supplier sent us the wrong radiator and we therefore had to send it back and wait for the correct one to arrive. You were informed that the vehicle would have to stay over till the next day.
Tuesday after the radiator was fitted we are able to test the aircon and saw the leak is coming from a valve, we could only get the valve on Thursday, and because of the inconvenience we did not charge you for the valve. We informed you about the delay and you said it is fine, you just need your vehicle back on Thursday before 13:00.
Your vehicle was ready for collection on Thursday at 13:00.
Due to the water restrictions in Cape Town we are not allowed to wash vehicles.
Regards,
Minette Williams
