Autoworks Salt River

The booking process and and communications from the team before dropping my vehicle was 100%, no problems, I love over communication rather than under communication. 10/10

My car vehicle (Renault Clio 4 900T) service was done with no problems, it took longer then expected, was done on the same day so no worries 9/10

Before booking the service, I advised that Im needing a belt change and I have an error/issue regarding my oil level sensor along with the service, this was confirmed that it would be possible. I get a communication the afternoon saying that my vehicle was almost done and that they dont see any issues with my parts that I requested they check and replace. (Also note that by the time they provided me an update, it would already have been to late for me to confirm that they can commence with the work, and for it to be completed the same day as I need the vehicle.) I had a feeling that they do this so that you would have to come back AGAIN, just my 2c.

They then also told me that they unable to reset my service light/Kms. blaming the car, mind you that its been serviced before with NO issues.

I called Renault, only to confirm that the workshop needs a certain tool/software, which they likely didnt have to reset the service interval.

So now, Im driving with a car that indicates its due a service, cam belt still squeaking like hell, and my oil level error back on the dash!

Just to add, I used this company based on their High status reviews and profiles everywhere, even though this cost me double what other workshops had been quoting.

So I paid double the price for a half job service.

I had provided feedback to them before coming here, but since its been a week or 2 with no feedback or attempt to remediate the issue, I now have to move public.

Good day, please keep in mind that we do have the software to reset the indicator however it could not be reset, we even tried to reset it manually. it seems to be a software problem on the cluster, so we recommended that it go to the agents for a possible software update. The branches foreman did update you regarding this.We did also clean the oil level sensor and when we did the diagnostic scan there were no fault codes. The only fault codes were for an oxygen sensor fault. when the vehicle was collected we advised that it be monitored and If the warning light comes back only then the level sensor needs to be replaced. We could not pick up a noise or fault from the v belt when the car was with us but we did provide you with a quote for a replacement.
