Auto Works Milnerton

Well, while you look into the charge for the wiper blades (which means nothing, of course and here I was hoping you cared) lets talk further, upon picking up the car I queried whether the mechanic had managed to check a drip from a lower radiator pipe to which he rep**** he had and he had sorted it out by tightening the clamp which was a bit loose. I thanked him. It is still dripping! It was raining, when I drove the car home onto the N7 so I employed the expensively fitted wiper blades and the right hand one took about one kilometre in the pouring rain to fall off! I lost my vision as the arm sc****d across the windscreen but luckily made it to the side of the highway to find the wiper blade snagged on the radio aerial - luckily. I clicked it into place and, wet, I drove on shaken by the experience. The mechanic had not bothered to make sure it was clicked into it's lock position when clipping it on. That could have ended very badly indeed. But, hey, who gives a hoot?
This is the second time I've visited this company and it only confirms my first experience which was really a nightmare - it was at the Salt River branch. I shall talk about this (still zero compensation) in the next episode. The only reason I used the Milnerton branch this time was because I knew they could run a diagnostic on my Jeep Cherokee as this is where I ended up after the previous debacle some years ago at the hands of Salt River Autoworks where I was offered 50% off my next service as compensation for a terrible experience, however they didn't see it necessary to run a standard diagnostic and it turns out you can have one for a mere R640 rand extra... TaDA! The radio ad they are running where they do it as good as the dealerships and supply original parts is nonsense as I will describe when I add my past experience to this review. Until then...
