I took in my Renault Megane RS to Autoway Ruimsig for a diagnosis(I must say the price was very reasonable R450) and was given a warm welcome by the owner Izak. Sat down for a few minutes while he was dealing with other clients on the telephone. We then proceeded to my car with one of his staff members who carried out the diagnosis, what I like is that, as the car was diagnosed, I was patiently and elaborately explained to each fault that was found. Some faults they managed to clear while others remained. I decided to leave my car so that they can sort out the remaining issues, which meant that I am not going to pay for the diagnosis but the labour cost for fixing the issues(As said by Izak the owner).

My car's control arms and stabiliser links were finished so I asked them to do that as well which they found out that my control arms were not tighten properly and my ABS sensor was also messed up by the previous mechanic. I left my car there and ordered the parts from Renault. While waiting for parts Izak emailed me to let me know that I can come and pick up my car so long we are waiting for parts unless I don't mind it being parked outside(which I minded) so I went to pick up the car and to my surprise he trusted me that I will come back and did not charge me for anything(This is what I call a true client business trust which a lot of mechanic shops don't have today). They also fixed my lights which were not working.

The day that I got the parts unfortunately someone made me an offer that I could not resist and had to sell the car, so I called Izak and explained to him my circumstances and asked how much I owed him. I was taken by surprise again to hear him say I don't owe him anything.

I would definitely recommend autoway ruimsig any time of the day and will definitely take my cars there for service.
