Avoid this mechanic

AVOID!

I called this guy after my car broke down, he came out and said it was the distributor. I paid him the first part of his invoice to go buy the part and replace it on my car as this is what he said was wrong with it. He came and put the part in and the car still didn't work so he said it might be the imobilizer, however told me that he would come the next morning to look at it. I paid him the second part of the invoice so everything was paid for. I waited and texted him and called but no response. This guy is hard to get hold of and rarely respond to anything! After a few days, he said his own car broke down, which I can understand but he said he would take an Uber the next day and fix my car. He never came. After the day passed he said he was called out to another truck. I paid the full amount so I expected that he would make my car a priority since I needed to go to work. Still, I said he must come the next day and fix it. He just didn't show and he comes up with all types of excuses. He could have taken an Uber as he said, or ask someone to bring him but he just didn't. And now he says he was sick. I would have understand this, but after TWO weeks you still couldn't find a way to just call me back?

I know he ignored my calls from my phone, since my dad also phoned him and he picked up the first time since he didn't know my dad's number. When my dad called last week to find out if he can come somewhere in that week, he just didn't pick up. So whenever it's an inconvenience to him, he just ignores you. For a guy and business to claim clients are their priority, I have yet to see it...

I also find out he did not replace the distributor. It is a second hand as well
