Poor Gate repair service

In Jan 2025 Automated Gate Repair Services were called to fix 3 issues with my Gate. 1. Gate would close then immediately open 2. Would open (or close) at a very slow speed, but quicken after proceeding for a third of the distance 3. It would close, but refused to open. The technician visited and indicated that I needed a new PC board for R 2921. This was done - it made no difference. 3 additional trips to rectify the issues but no solution was provided. On the last visit to rectify the issues they recommended that I needed new rail / track and wheels for R 5 700 (R 5416 after a 5% discount). I looked around for a new supplier who fixed the issues for R 600. Additionally they did recommend the new rail and wheels for less than half the cost. This wasn't needed immediately, but was recommended. Automated Gate Repair Services did not offer a decent service.
