YOUR POLO VIVO IS DANGEROUS!!!
<p>On the 17/09/2016 my wife had her 1.4 Polo Vivo brakes worked on at Authaus Centurion. Maureen Raath was her service advisor. A week prior to that she visited there to enquire about a shudder on the brake that had her worried. The technician, whose name she unfortenatly did not take, informed her that there is a factory fault on the brakes and the wrong ones were being used. She left with a booking for the 17/09/2016 believing that they will amend the problem under warranty as the car only has 13 000 KM on the clock.</p> <p> </p> <p>She picks up the vehicle that afternoon and gets informed that after only 13 000 KM the pads have 89% usability left but they have to replace the DISCS on both wheels!!!! this is because of erroneous driving on our part. I am later told by Maureen when I querie this on the 21/09/2016 that its also due to compounds and other factors. I log a complaint with Volkswagen South Africa with instructions to get back to me and am now informed by my wife that they have told he they are reffering it back to dealership.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have a couple of questions:</p> <p> </p> <p>1) what type of steel do you use to allow a mother to warp discs after 13 000 KM?</p> <p>2) Why could these discs not be skimmed?</p> <p>3) Why should your design and manufacture fault be my financial responsibilty, even if the car is under warranty?</p> <p> </p> <p>I have no patience for games like this. Either you own up to your mistake and correct it or I will be forced to take approriate action. </p> <p> </p> <p>I really miss the days we he horses...</p>
