Poor Service Provision
I went to the company to have my car in for 45000 km service. When i bought the car (Peugeot 308) it was said to have a maintenance plan ****il 60000 km or the year 2020), Service plan ****il 60000 km or the year 2020) and warranty plan. Upon taking my car in for service I was then told that my maintenance plan has been cancelled and therefore certain mechanical parts can not be replaced namely break pads and the whippers. I was told to pay an amount of R 4863.00 or so for those part to be fitted. when i inquired about the plans that i got with the car I was told i had passed the millage (45 000 km) by almost a 1000 km therefore i forfeit the maintenance plan. The service adviser said to me this was a common practice by the dealership to try and get consumers to pay for service and parts though the vehicle is still covered. he then gave me documents that proved that i was still covered under the maintenance plan and the service plan.
