Unroadworthy Vehicle Sold – Dealership Ignoring Safety and Accountability

I purchased a bakkie from Autohaus MMU Northcliff on 31 December 2025, and it was sold to me with serious defects, including multiple dents and a severely cracked windscreen across the entire glass — making the vehicle unsafe and not roadworthy.

Despite raising this before and after collection, the dealership failed to fix the vehicle. Instead, I was told to source my own repair quotation, which I submitted in January 2026. Since then, I have been given repeated promises, false assurances, and deadlines that were never honoured.

Management got involved and still failed to resolve the issue. Communication became inconsistent, and eventually I was ignored completely.

To this day, the vehicle remains unrepaired, and I am forced to drive something that poses a serious safety risk.

This experience shows a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and concern for customer safety once payment has been received.

I strongly advise anyone considering buying from this dealership to think very carefully — based on my experience, you may be left with a dangerous vehicle and no support.
