Change of vehicle ownership
I settled the vehicle October 2017 and they delayed the transfer of ownership saying that I need to pay the settling of the tracker if I am no longer in need of it , I did that but papers only reached me last week the 09/02/2018 now my disk has expired 31 December 2017. After receiving the documentation I went to traffic Department they say thy cannot allow me to licence the car as i has to be done by the previous owner because it blocked on the system .Now she denies that she is there one to to do that she expects me to deposit an amount of R800.00 in her account for her to do that.
Firstly AutoGroup would like to thank Ms Nxozi for her email dated 31st October sent at 12:25PM – “I would like to show my gratitude to you all for the great service I had with you though there were ups and downs we manage to solve them , I can assure you that I can highly recommend people I know to buy from you, you’re trustworthy I can say , I was a bit sceptical at first but now I am happy to say that you were a blessing in disguise I still not believe that I am now owning the car . Thank you very much to AUTOGROUP TEAM as a whole .”
AutoGroup would like to clarify a few points with regards to Ms Nxozi’s review. The final payment made to the vehicle was on the 31st October 2017. As with all our vehicles, they are fitted with a Netstar Safe & Sound unit. Once the vehicle was settled the option was offered to Ms Nxozi to either take over the unit, or cover the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee was only paid by Ms Nxozi On the 29th January 2018. Due to the delay from Ms Nxozi the license disc had expired and this is ultimately what is delaying the change of ownership. In order for it to be done, the disc needs to be renewed which would cost R800.00, and then it can be finalised. AutoGroup has done our utmost best to ensure the final handover to Ms Nxozi is sorted but we cannot be penalised due to disputes between the previous Owner and Ms Nxozi.
