Total ******* artist and con man.

Kobus quoted me R12600 to refurbish my two wooden garage doors and to replace the springs and door handles. I thought this quote was a bit steep but Kobus explained that the cost of the springs where round about R3000 per set and I needed 3 sets. So I accepted the quote. On 'completion' of the job Kobus insisted on immedite transfer of payment. Luckily we happened to notice that he had in fact painted my old springs and reinstalled them. On questioning him about this he first insisted they where new springs. When I asked him to return my old springs and supply the invoice for the new springs he backtracked and said no, my new springs where still being tested. Then the next day he informed me that his technician had run away with my new springs. On top of it, the refurbishment of the wooden garage doors was done without a sanding machine. Poor workers, where given the job to do by hand. Which of course was impossible, for them to remove the old varnish properly and new varnish was app**** which has left me with a beautiful blotchy effect with lots of lovely running varnish marks. Kobus ended up blocking me and leaving me with a job that has to be re done.
