AUTOGATE - UNRELIABLE - DON'T BOTHER

Called Autogate 3 or 4 weeks ago for a new garage door. They were 6 hrs late coming out to measure up, but they eventually arrived and took full details with a verbal quote. We waited for our usual handyman for an alternative quote which didn't arrive so we re-contacted Annetjie from Autogate last Sunday and she made an arrangement with us to have a new door installed today at 14h00. She confirmed that she had all details of the installation.My wife called Emmerentia on Monday who agreed to send through an Invoice and banking details, which never arrived. All good so we thought. My wife and I both came home early to allow the installation team access to our property. Emmerentia called my wife at two o'clock to say the installers were running late. No problem. Three o'clock came and went with no one appearing. We tried to call Emmerentia with no success until I sent her a message at around 4pm She couldn't get hold of her installer to find out where he was, then told me he was only coming to measure up and they hadn't ordered a door as yet. I immediately cancelled my order and voiced my displeasure. Luckily we hadn't paid. We have voice recordings of all conversations with them.
