Unauthorised charges

On 21 July 2018 I visited Auto Fame in Ridgeway show rooms with an intrest to buy a car. I saw the car and I did not have the required documents by then for me to be financed. I was told to pay a refundable amount of R5000.00 to them by Mark to keep the car from being bought by other customers until I organise myself and also promised to get my money if I change my minds about buying the car. On Monday I noticed that I was enlisted on credit beareu which I knew in that situation I wont be financed. I told Mark Telephone ********** . He promised to refund the money on Wednesday 1st August 2018. On Tuesday I received notification from my bank that R4000.00 from Auto Fame has been deposited. I immidiately called Mark to ask why is the refund short R1000.00 he told me that its their policy. I asked him why he did not tell me upfront about the charges of R5000.00. He told me he was going to send a document that I can sign for those conitions. I asked him to pay my remaining R1000.00 because he never agreet with me to charge me that amount. He said its their policy and he cant refund me the money. I request your assistance in this regard to be paidy R1000.00 back.
