Kia Heidelberg - False advertising?

My wife decided to search for a new car for herself as she is the one that carts our 2 children around and has decided on a family SUV. We searched for a day or two and came across a few deals on the Kia Sportage.

We found one listed with Kia Heidelberg, a 2.0L Ignite Plus Auto for a really good price and very low mileage (50km according to the listing) and so we enquired our interest for the vehicle. We were phoned at 8:30 that same night which was quite impressive. The process overall was quite impressive in getting a valuation for her current car, and getting finance approval from the banks.

They had the entire day through this WHOLE process to inform her that the 2.0L was sold but only once EVERYTHING had been confirmed did they tell her that the vehicle was gone, and they only had a 1.6L for sale but at MORE than the price of the 2.0L so either the car was sold WHILE we were trying to buy it, OR it was a **** listing to get people in, see what they are approved for, and then try and sell the worse vehicles nobody wants and they are stuck with.

I do not have any issue if you sell out, fine, it happens but at least say so FROM THE BEGINNING, that the vehicle we wanted is gone instead of stringing us along the whole time. That is not customer service.
