AutoCity Nigel - Worst Mechanical repairs & Communication EVER
I don't even know where to begin , I bought a vehicle from AutoCity Nigel , reported the faulty clutch "in-time" , never heard anything back until my clutch finally broke , they claimed the clutch repair from SA Warranties (even though it wasn't supposed to be claimed as I reported the clutch within the 7days/1000KM's as per their "promises" ) ...the mechanic messed up during the repairs and my gearbox finally broke down (not even 2 weeks after I received my vehicle back from them) due to negligence when they worked on my engine (Found that some of my bolts wasn't even put back when they stripped the engine, found a piece of clothing in my engine / bonnet) ...Again they claimed the gearbox repairs from SA Warranties (even though it was AutoCity Nigel's fault in the first place) ...Had my vehicle back for less than 2 full days when I had to have the vehicle towed to the nearest Ford (on my way to my work ) because the engine light came on and the car had no power, upon arrival they had to do a diagnostic test and found that yet again AutoCity Nigel "forgot" to put back a pipe that is supposed to keep my turbo cooled and my car went into limping mode - I had my vehicle for less than 3 months now and it is more "in for repairs" than anything else . the communication from AutoCity Nigel is the worst , even worse than their services/mechanical abilities. I'm still waiting for a response from them and can bet they won't even give me an apology let alone anything else.
I hope the ombudsman will assist with this case as I'm not sure for how long my vehicle will still be driveable after AutoCity Nigel worked on it.
I hope that no-one gets to go through the same situations that I had to with AutoCity Nigel...
Please be careful when dealing with them.
