Do not buy a car from Auto Xtreme

We purchased a double cab from Auto Xtreme and requested discount for buying the car cash and was told that we will only get R5000 discount. Upon further investigation we determined that the vehicle did not have a service history and actually missed it services and that the factory warranty was now voided.<br> We negotiated and agreed on a selling price of R10000 below the asking price due to the fact that we would be taking the risk upon ourselves should something happen to the engine. We were charged an additional R1800 for the roadworthy and paid the amount. The vehicle was passed on the road worthy and we took delivery of the vehicle during the same week. The next day we had the vehicle serviced at a reputable dealer. Who pointed out that the rear view mirror and wiper blades needed to be replaced as well as the idling stabilizer. We brought this under the attention of the Auto Xtreme in writing as well as the fact that the aerial was broken. Auto Xtreme responded they have already given us discount and that the roadworthy items is not their problem the vehicle passed. I will never again purchase a car from Auto Xtreme. be warned they will make you lots of promises and keep none.
