I had an issue with my cars turbo not kicking in, and decided to go to Turbo "Masters".

They immediately got me to put the car in diagnostics and then charged me R450. Without the car even being inspected. They then did the diagnostics and the guy told me it would cost about R5000. I then said it was expensive and he said okay R3850, thereafter he said R2500. The guy then told me to call him privately, and wrote down his number.

I had the car assessed and a clip was loose. The turbo master guy then added me on whatsapp and asked to check if everything is okay. I told him I had it fixed and the guy didn't rip me off, like they tried.

He responded by saying they didn't inspect the car, so it might have been easy.

How did they quote me without inspecting the car?

I had to pay for another diagnostics report as they failed to even send it to me.

Three service is unprofessional and appalling!
