Please read this and save yourself tears.

Hi everyone. I need to warn you about this car garage that has really ruined me. My car engine light went on and I took it to the closest place I could find, Auto Turbo Master. They charged me R2800 to fix it, couldn’t tell me what they had done, and I hadn’t authorised the repairs to go ahead, but they had done the work and said the car was going fine and they could guarantee it for a year. So I paid.

3 weeks later it broke down again. I took it back and demanded they make it work as I have already paid, and then left it there for a week. I went to collect it today because I couldn’t get a straight answer out of them as to what is actually wrong. Then they tried to tell me I owe them R18k for putting in a new engine!! Which I had not authorised and never knew about. I got straight in the car and drove it to an RMI-approved garage down the road. They looked at the engine and said it hadn’t been touched. Still dust all over it. No finger prints. No new seals. Nothing.

To add insult to injury, they had driven my car last week for over 1,000kms!! And my car was covered in food and stinks of smoke. Plus my average fuel consumption (which has remained at 9.9 since I bought it) was jumped up to 10.2 – if you track your fuel consumption you will know this is an incredulous feat for 1 week of usage. I suspect my car has been used in street racing. And then driven to Port Elizabeth and back. I have no words. Please take note of this and never think to visit Auto Turbo Master. Please.
