Theft under false pretences

We purchased a Toyota Hilux bakkie that was advertised on Auto Traders Website. We used the information on this site and contacted the dealer, Springbok Motors in Springbok. We received an invoice for the vehicle with additional costs for transport of this vehicle. The vehicle was supposed to be delivered at our home on 31 December 2020. After several attempts to get hold of both Auto Traders and the sales person from Springbok Motors, we went to Absa bank to see if we can reverse this payment as it was paid by EFT from our Absa account to the Absa account on the invoice. Absa ***** department told us to report it at the police and get a case number as this is a ****. This vehicle was still on Auto Traders website on 4 January 2021. How can a bussiness like Auto Traders be involved in ****s and *****? It is supposed to be a respectable bussiness.
