Nthabiseng and AutoTrader for the WIN!!!

AutoTraderSA I have a disabled brother, who LOVES his AutoTraders. He calls it a “kar boek”. So when Autotrader stopped with the paper copies and traded online only, my brother couldn’t understand that. He got upset every time he asked for his kar boek and we couldn’t give him one. It’s heartbreaking to see him upset about something that he loves so much that he can’t have anymore and we don’t know how to explain it to him!

So I emailed Autotrader, explaining the situation. They rep**** saying they’ll have a look and get back to me. To be quite honest, I didn’t have a lot of hope.

But then Nthabiseng contacted me stating she found a few copies, and she’ll keep them for me until I can go fetch them. I jumped in my car and raced to their Head Office. I asked for Nthabiseng, but still not getting my hopes up too much. I expected maybe 3 or 4 copies. She came in, the most beautiful, friendliest and warm person I’ve ever met. Not just that, she was holding 10 copies of AutoTraders!!! No charge, she said! I nearly cried! She had a male colleague with her (Vusi, if I’m not mistaken) and when he heard me talk about my brother and how happy he’ll be, Vusi ran to his office and brought me an AutoTrader Commercial, and a nice thick one with lots of pictures! They both assured me that they will continue looking for paper copies and let me know whenever they find more?

So basically, I just want to take the opportunity and time to thank Nthabiseng from the bottom of my heart, firstly for actually replying to my email, and secondly for her time and effort to find the magazines! And Vusi, thank you for your contribution as well! You made my heart warm and fuzzy and gave me faith in humanity again.

But most importantly, you made the heart of a car crazy disabled boy happy, and you brought that gorgeous smile of his back!! You guys are absolutely amazing!!!!
