Don't ever take your car to Auto Tech

Hi<br> <br> i took one of their flyers that stated a engine overhaul id R1650 and thinking they are reasonable. i phone auto tech and advised them what is the fault on the car. the cards head must be redone as one valve bent and the car had a bearing knock. i advised auto-tech to come and fetch the car and thinking they will bring a flat bed or tow truck instead it was a old bakkie that could not even tow my car properly. on Friday i was phoned and was told the following - the engin overhaul - R1650, the engineer's fee -R990 and a complete gasket set of R695 and was advised that VW booysens will provide the gasket set. that made me question the quality of their work. wen we came there 1 guy was busy with a Toyota tazz outside of the workshop. there is no equipment to say they know what they doing. if the price doesn't differ to the pamphlet, the quality of their work needs to be questioned. people rather take your car to professionals and pay that R5/6 k.
