Unprofessional and poor quality servicing

Im a new driver and single mom and wanted to have my car serviced. I went to auto station in oakdale as its close to work and in easy location. I went in February and asked for a major service. I Was then told that due to the mileage on my car a minor service is what's needed. I've explained that I heard a noise on my car and not sure what's the issue. I was told its probably the brakes. Long story short they did the minor service and thats that. The next morning I still heard the noise and so was concerned as to what they actually did. I went and asked someone for a second opinion last week as it was the only available time I had to go and get this noise checked out, just to find out that my cv boot is broken and needs replacing. When I asked the guy if it newly happened or not he mentioned it seemed like its been broken for a while. So today I contacted auto station and explained that this is the case and that I need it looked at. Was rudely told to take it to the auto station in durban road as they deal with cv. Got there and was assisted by johan and David. David assessed the car I again explained the noise and he immediately found the fault and said that he found it strange that it wasn't picked up in the service. Also ended up telling me that the cv boot is in fact broken and has resulted in the whole cv joint needing to be replaced as it has started damaging the cv. Again saying to me that it should have been picked up in the service. What should have been a pleasant experience for me with my car service ended up being a distressing encounter. They quote to say they pleadge and promise that your car is safe and that they checked everything but they lie. I have been mistreated and I feel that auto station oakdale took advantage of the fact that I was a woman and today when I went to the owner Paul to speak with him regarding my concerns of the poor workmanship he was rude and arrogant and didn't even have the decency to give me the opportunity to explain what my issue or complaint was about. All I wanted was a service to my car and for me to feel safe and secure on the road and to feel that people that I thought were experts were actually doing their job. So ladies and my fellow single moms please avoid using auto station oakdale. They are the worst place to go to have your car serviced and they exploit us. I thought I would have peace of mind but ended up being fearful to drive my car now after being serviced there. Worst company and worst management. Steven and Paul the owner are rude and arrogant.
