Damaged Rim and bad service - Auto Speed Goodwood, Cape Town

<p>So after having my rims refurbished and freshly painted , I needed to have my existing tyres fitted. Being pressed for time I decided to give them a try as not only were their prices seemingly good, but they didnt seem to be very busy (pretty obvious why now).</p> <p>Anyway I bring the rims into the workshop and the workshop assistant comes over, I greet him and get no response, I was like okay, he is probably having a bad day. He takes the first rim and tyre and after watching the guy carefully, I noticed that he turned my rim face down and placed it on the "tyre machine" for lack of a better word. I figured okay he knows what he is doing (even though something was telling me check your rim). The guy behind the desk then asked if I dont perhaps want to have a seat in their waiting area, which I did even though I had my reservations.</p> <p>Within 5 minutes they was about 3 other assistants around my wheel, as well as the dude behind the desk. The work shop assistant (who goes by the name of "Ettiene") calls me over and immediately blames the paint on my rims, he said its not fully cured LOL! I told him not to talk nonsense to me as the rims where sprayed 2 months ago. </p> <p>I am now fuming..and proceed to the guy behind the desk and give him this news and he too says that the paint wasnt cured. I looked at him and asked him about the rim that was placed "face down" on the machine, and he says that it must be that way. How else would they get the rim on the tyre and proceeded to blame the paint. I asked if they would re-imburse me or even offer a free wheel alignment or something for their mess up, but received nothing , except this guy behind the counter who kept dissing my wheels.</p> <p>Seriously, they are *********** and I will never recommend Auto Speed Goodwood to anyone .</p> <p>I was extremely upset about this entire situation. I then went to another tyre place Dunlop Zone, across the road and they sorted me out within half an hour, with not a single scratch on any of the other 3 rims andreceived the best service ever, by a guy behind the counter named Mike.</p> <p> </p>
