Angry Customer

I bought a second hand Nissan Navara 2007 model from them last year May 2016. I traded in my Polo for R75 000 and paid the extra R70 000 cash upfront totalling R145 000. After the 2nd day of having the bakkie it gave problems starting and it had an unusual smell coming from the engine. I took it back and Anton said they would take the Navara back and that I could look at taking something else. I became interested in an Audi A6 which they said I could take in place of the Navara. I then took the Audi and gave back the Navara along with the Navara papers and they said they would redo the paperwork for the Audi etc but to this day it was never done. I drove the Audi for less than a week when the gearbox blew so Anton took it back for repairs. The Audi was given back to me and given back to the dealership about 5 times for the same problems and I was told every time that those certain problems were fixed but once inspected the problems were still there. I got the Audi back after being told that the boot and front light were fixed (they tied it together with cable ties) when it wasn't done properly so I went in to see Anton as I was unhappy about the back and forth and the Anton said I could take back my Polo. I took the Polo back and have had it for almost 10 months now. I requested the balance I initially paid over for the Navara to be paid back to me as well as for the Polo papers but Anton has repeatedly said no and to take him to court. I have stressed the fact that I has received fines for having the licence disc out of date as it expired during and cannot have it renewed because of the situation. I recently had the police rock up at my house to arrest me as the same number plate was reassigned to another vehicle which has been reported ****** and I was almost arrested because of the confusion. The cop told me to remove the number plates as the car hasn't been registered to the particular plate number and to park the car until the case is over and the car has been re licensed and registered. I am now battling get to work but have borrowed the works bakkie. I have had a hearing about this and am getting into unnecessary trouble for this. Anton basically laughed in my face and said he doesn't care. I have gone to the IDA but they are not able to assist and then submitted a claim to the Ombudsman which I am still waiting to get a response. I am really not sure what to do now and have even tried to go speak to Anton to come to some sort of arrangement but he is avoiding me and doesn't even return my calls. I have also been informed that the Nissan Navara has actually been sold by the dealership during the process as well as the Audi so its not like we can go back to the beginning of any agreement because its completely breached in any case.
