Auto Prism

After having a vehicle drive into the back of my brand new car, I decided to obtain a quotation from Auto Prism. I was advised that the vehicle would have to be stripped to obtain a full and accurate quotation. I advised Auto Prism not to attend to any work whatsoever as my insurers needed to give the authorisation and the assessor needed to attend to the vehicle first. I was told by Auto Prism to leave my vehicle with them as it would only take a day or two and this was normal practice. I attended to this. My insurers have now been advised that Auto Prism will not release the vehicle and are holding the vehicle to "ransom" for a ridiculous amount of money being half of the value of the repairs. I would strongly recommend this company never to be utilised as they do not tell the truth and are using this situation to the point of ******ion. They are claiming strip assessment charges, quotation charges, storage (which states clearly R250 a day on their signed forms). They claim to be Honda accredited (the vehicle is a Honda 2017 vehicle). This should never be experienced by anyone and I strongly advise that nobody EVER uses this firm or leaves a motor vehicle with them This matter is being attended to by attorneys so that my new vehicle can be released and repaired.
