Very Disappointing After Sales Service

Bought a 2nd hard car from Ishmael at Auto Investments Centurion. Pre-Sales was brilliant really made you feel like it’s a quality dealership went to every effort to make the deal work and valued you as a client. We took delivery and everything was good. However, they charged us license and registration, but omitted to tell us they won’t do the License because it’s in jhb and they only do pta. Had I been told this at the time I would have questioned them if they only do half why am I paying for a full Lic and Reg service. As expected the claim is that we were told but I really can’t remember it, why would I do nothing about if it was made clear to me. Either way, it comes time for renewal of my other licenses and I am unable to get the license disc because of this outstanding one. In the process the road worthy also expired. I take a day off work to go sort it all out, cost of re-road-worthy, cost of license and penalties and a day off work. I also find out the wheel lock nut is missing, which i then also had to have replaced at my own cost. They inform me today that the DP has decided that they will only consider reimbur*****t of R400 odd. A bit of a slap in the face. It is clear where their priority lies. I will not be doing business with them again and will warn any and every one to the same. They did half a job on the license and reg and are not prepared to even understand our frustration, inconvenience and or offer a gesture of even just half of the fees we paid for the full service. Let alone the issue of the wheel nut lock. It’s less about the money and more about the gesture of assisting with the issues post sales. They are quite prepared to have a dissatisfied customer over seemingly insignificant cost. Its not like I asked them to replace the engine, just at minimum, give me back half the reg fees for the ‘half a job’ they did. At the end of the day its show more the priority here. They don’t actually value the client or experience of dealing with them post sale. Even a simple acknowledgement of the mistake (irrespective of fault) would make you feel like you are in this together. Even a gesture to rectifying it (like offering re-road-worthy through their contacts/processes which is not extra effort for them they do it every day), would have gone along way. Instead they have created a lot of bad publicity and a very bitter and unhappy client for a measly R1250. I paid for a service and they did not deliver all of it. All in it, has cost me 4 times that to rectify everything but that has revealed their true colors as a business. Maybe I'm still old school with some expectations that businesses work with you and not nail you on every angle or count they can. Sadly its clear, Auto investment Centurion is not in it with you. With a company mission statement and branding that says 'ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE, ABSOLUTE TRUST', i can only concur an ultimate BAD experience and zero trust. Take a look at their 'about' page on their website, pretty much a total contradiction to what I have experienced.
