Very disappointed feel financially injured
ET gate motor failing. Requested assistance call out costs R350 deductible from final bill. Technician arrived very promptly reset the motor and recalibrate. Bill R1250. I was alarmed bill dropped to R950. But gate immediately failed before technician left. Decided pc board damaged. Replacement motor Centurion D5 Evo. Did not know Centurion Motor is sold without security bracket ( ET motor has security bracket standard) so it was installed without security bracket (was pushed with all riots going on) bill R9250. Motor can be bought out of hand for R5000-R6000 ( which includes a mark up for the seller) so now call out fee and installation cost me R3250 plus or minus for about 2 hours work. Then i enquired about the security bracket and was told R1650 but out of hand they are R900-R1000 ( which includes sellers mark up) but I asked if this was including installation of the bracket, no it was just for the bracket. I know life is tough at the moment and petrol is expensive but hay it is just as expensive for me and I don't appreciate being ********** by ************ businesses. In my book fair job for fair pay but this was definitely not. BEWARNED SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE.
