Terrible Turnaround Times

I reluctantly took out a policy for interior and exterior damages to my vehicle with Auto Elite, I logged a claim on their online system in November of 2017 if not last week of October 2017, I was to be contacted in 48hrs and to this day 05th of Jan 2018 I haven't been contacted to finalize or receive advises regarding the next step in the claiming process. Furthermore I received an SMS on the 23rd of Nov to say that my Dec. debit would go off on the 8th of Dec. I immediately called and asked them to make it the 15th cause I don't know who told them I would've received my salary by the 8th, the consultant said she had changed it to the 15th yet still on the 8th of Dec the debit went off! I'm really annoyed and on the verge of cancelling this damn policy!
