They dont know whats going on with newer ECU's

<p>Took a Jaguar 2.2TDCi X-Type ECU for them for repairs.</p> <p> </p> <p>According to there technicians there was nothing wrong with the ECU. When we connected the ECU to the car it didnt work.</p> <p> </p> <p>We eventually had to buy a new ECU and pair it to the car. I questioned the technician about how he tested the ECU and all he said was that the ECU is fine. He cannot find a fault. They charge R150 just to test the ECU which is done in about 2 minutes.</p> <p> </p> <p>I think this is day light robery to be honest. They need to rethink the way they do things or how they test ECU's as this is not the first time i had sent and ECU to them just for them to say its fine and later to find out that we needed a replacement ECU for a car.</p>
