Auto Centre Diep River - a very disappointing customer experience

From the start my experience at Auto Centre Diep River was questionable - the service at front desk was charmless, I had to phone twice just to find out if my car had been looked at yet. A simple matter of changing the V-belts on my Kia Picanto resulted in the bolts on my power steering pump coming loose, damaging the new belt and leaving me stranded 100 km from Cape Town where I had to have it seen to just so that I could get home! To top it off when I requested the company to refund me (even a portion of the labour since I had to pay the total again to replace the damaged belts) they said I should have brought the car back to them . Sure - the cost of a tow from Wellington to Cape Town was worth it to correct a R615 messed up job. They even got quite rude when I said I would be reviewing them. All in all an abysmal experience from start to finish and I would not recommend anyone to take their vehicle to Auto Centre Diep River - even for the smallest job.
