Secondhand car salesmen - this is why they have a bad name!

<p>Hi,</p> <p>Today, I spent the good part of my morning travelling to Midrand from Randburg to go and see a secondhand Hond CRV that was listed for sale on Autotrader. I went in, test drove the car and made an offer to purchase and I was sent he OTP and all the finance papers via email. When I got home, I immediatley filled out all the forms and sent them back. An hour later, I got a phone call from the dealership that somebody else had put a deposit down and that the vehicle has been sold to somebody else. I could easily have put a deposit down when I was there - in fact if somebody told me that i needed to in order to secure the car, I would have. I think this is incredibly ********* behaviour and I am apalled at the awful service form a dealership that is supposed to be aligned to BMW - absolutely shocking!!</p>
