I have a 2003 M3 SMG2. On the 30th August 2015 my hydraulic pump ,on the gearbox ,packed up. I was stranded on Worcester and had to have the car put on a roll back and brought to Cape Town. I then found out the pump was under 2yr warranty and proceeded to contact Auto Atlantic. By the 8th September the vehicle was at the workshop to be diagnosed. The warranty was then approved and a new pump was fitted. This entire process took the better part of 3weeks as I only received the car on the 2nd October 2015. This entire time was inconvenienced without a vehicle. Only for the car to give a gearbox fault the Sunday. The car would then move from 1st gear to neutral if it was on standstill. I took it for diagnosis and the fault showed a intermittent fault in the hydraulic unit which was supp****. Non the less the car has been back to Auto Atlantic and the fault has still not been found. It has been another week the car is in the workshop and it seems no one can provide me with solid answers. I received a polo vivo as a replacement vehicle but feel this is not good enough as I have had to take time off from work, incure extra towing cost to get the vehicle to Auto Atlantic. DISSAPOINTING!!!
