Shocking attitude from the owner Solly Klotz

I drive a black 2016 AUDI A3. Beautiful vehicle, mission to keep it looking good. The black tends to show up any scratches, dust, etc. My vehicle went to Audi on Wednesday for a service and they recommended using Auto Armor as the product will help protect the car's paint work and the car looks better between washes as well. I booked the vehicle in for the following morning. The check in/drop off process at this branch is very chaotic and they needed reminding of what the vehicle was there for. I was told 3 - 3.5 hours for the treatment (this was at 08h00). I phoned at 12h30 to enquire and was told my vehicle was ready for collection. Upon collection, the vehicle still needed to be brought to the front. After a 20 min wait the vehicle was brought to me and I IMMEDIATELY noticed the cracked windscreen. There were NO cracks/chips in my windscreen when the vehicle was dropped off that morning. I raised this with the staff who then checked their inspection sheet and admitted there were NO cracks when the vehicle arrived. They told me that the owner Solly Klotz will phone me later. 24 hours later Mr. Klotz still hadn't phoned me so I phoned him. Mr. Klotz told me that there was no way the vehicle could have been damaged at his premises and that he as a business owner couldn't just believe all the clients who tell him their vehicles are damaged on his premises. When I mentioned the vehicle check sheet, his response was that the guy who checked the vehicle in indicated on the check list the vehicle had scratches and apparently this is what he meant. Excuse me?? The inspection sheet wasn't even signed. Please bear in mind that I have a vehicle inspection sheet from AUDI Bruma 24 hours prior to this that clearly shows there are no cracks/chips in my windscreen. My word also means nothing to Mr. Klotz. He is of the opinion that this couldn't have happened at his premises and I must now bring my car back to him on Monday so that "we can discuss this". This is not how you treat your customers Mr. Klotz. The Automotive Industry and public makes use of a product your franchise sells. I wondered if you would have handled the situation in such a manner if you knew that AUDI referred me to your franchise. I will quite happily pay the R 250 insurance excess to have the windscreen replaced. To me this has now become a matter of principal. I will not come to your workshop and be intimidated and bul****. You are rude and your argumentative, aggressive manner does nothing to solve any problems. I relayed my experienced to AUDI and I hope this will help the next unsuspecting customer.
